Tales of our lands

Trentino Vineyards

Ours is an area rich in different types of grape varieties: from the indigenous Trentino Alto-Adige grape varieties to international varieties. Among those with red grapes are Teroldego Rotaliano, Marzemino, Pinot Nero, Lagrein, Merlot and other minor varieties; among those with white grapes are Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Müller Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Moscato Giallo and Sauvignon Blanc. Each grape variety tells a tale of Trentino.

Pinot Grigio
The Rotaliana Plain is classically suited for the production of Pinot Grigio, as historical documents attest. In the Almanacco Agrario of 1883, a technical publication of the Istituto Agrario di San Michele all'Adige, the researcher Mader recommends Pinot Grigio as a variety that improves the viticultural heritage of the time, since it gives abundant and uniform harvests and a very "fine" white wine.

Each Mezzacorona wine tells a story of Trentino

We cultivate the individual varieties only in their natural habitat. In this way we respect the natural richness and vocation of our land, allow each grape variety to express its character to the full and produce wines that genuinely tell the story of Trentino.
