The freshness of this wine is a vivid embodiment of the Dolomites This estate produced Pinot Grigio iscultivated in the hills and deep valleys of the Italian Alps which enjoy the winds that blow up the rivervalley from Lake Garda This Pinot Grigio Riserva has a distinct and refined body thanks to thefermentation of some of the wine in barrel for 6 8 months The Pinot Grigio Riserva is produced withgrapes cultivated in the vineyards of one of the most traditional areas for this varietal named Zablaniwhich is situated Northeast of Mezzocorona and characterized by watery soils and good drainage, verysimilar to the adjacent zone of Teroldego.

Part of the Pinot Grigio is then fermented in stainless steel tanks 40 and the remaining 60 isfermented in small oak barrels, 1 2 years old, to obtain a delicate contribution of oak to the fruity notes ofthe Pinot Grigio After fermentation the wine remains in oak barrels for 6 8 months After 10 11 monthsthe wine fermented in stainless steel is blended with the wine fermented in barriques obtaining a productwith typical notes of vanilla and ripe fruit, but also with the freshness and typical aroma’s of the TrentinoPinot Grigio.
