Mezzacorona cultivates this variety in a naturally vocated area in Trentino named Vallagarina.
Vinification
Classic red vinification with maceration and fermentation on the skins at controlled temperature of around 24-26°C (75-79°F).
Characteristics
This wine has a ruby red color with bluish-purple coloured (violet) reflection. It is well-balanced with soft tannins, hints of pomegranate, morel berry, sour black berry, light notes of violet, with gentle vegetable and tannic hints.
Pairings
Ideal companion to mushrooms dishes, lasagna, white meats and seasoned cheeses.
